Analysis about FIFA 16 plateform

How long series have been running on this point, EA Sports has found polish, disciplined and refurbished digital sports, it was amazing.  Even with stand-out titles in Konami’s Pro Evolution Soccer franchise, FIFA is here to stay and FIFA 16 seems to be the best yet.

The Ignite Engine debuted in FIFA 14 two years ago and since then, it’s been used in every major current gen sports title from EA. It’s not all about better character animation, which has improved “ten-fold” over the previous generation or more realistic stadium members or even the improved physics to limbs and clothing. Ignite has also been pegged to feature better artificial intelligence calculations and allow its players to behave more akin to real-life athletes.

FIFA 16 on both the Xbox One and PS4 runs at 1920×1080 resolution and 60 frames per second. V-Sync is employed to ensure a steady frame rate during gameplay but this drops to 30 FPS in cinematic scenes like close-ups and replays, both manual and general.

MSAA 2x is employed for both versions of the game and does a great job of smoothening out any jaggies. The result is most apparent in objects with intense curves in their complex geometry – as a result, stadiums are of the highest image quality throughout. The PC version goes a step further with MSAA 4x which results in even better looking curves.

hen observing shadows throughout the gameplay, many of them appeared smooth but we noticed some dithering every now and then. This was noticed only on the console versions, primarily during cinematic cut scenes, replays and celebrations. The PC version doesn’t have this issue, thankfully. It should also be noted that Xbox One fans receive motion blur right out of the box along with all the other platform versions.

Oddly enough, FIFA 16 on the PC doesn’t sport a range of graphical options to tinker with. You can adjust the resolution, with choices up to 3840×2160, low or high rendering quality, MSAA 2x or 4x, locked 30/60 FPS or limitless FPS and the ability to disable the Windows Aero theme in case of micro-stuttering. We’re not sure if this is better or worse than PES 16’s three graphical presets though FIFA 16 looks way better on PC.

Testing the performance on an Intel Core i7-5960X with 16 GB of RAM, we benchmarked on two different GPUs at 1920×1080 resolution.

Nvidia GeForce GTX 980 – Average: 240 FPS, Minimum: 218 FPS

Nvidia GeForce GTX 950 – Average: 160 FPS, Minimum: 122 FPS

We then tested these at 4K resolution.

Nvidia GeForce GTX 980 – Average: 133 FPS, Minimum: 106 FPS

Nvidia GeForce GTX 950 – Average: 63 FPS, Minimum: 42 FPS

In General, all three versions are very similar to each other. PC version features better antialiasing and shadow quality and jitter-free despite the minimum screen tearing in addition, PS4 and Xbox version performed well.Unfortunately, it looks like we have to wait until FIFA 17 better character animation and physics.

FIFA 16 – A real soccer match

When you see “FIFA 16″ for the first time, you will feel it is a real soccer match. They’ll hear me shout, cheer, and swear just like I would during a real game, They‘re going to think I must be crazy. They’ll watch on for a few seconds, and with a confused expression, they’ll ask “Wait, is this a video game?” it looks so good to momentarily fool people which is a great feat.

Boots and hands on players looked abnormally large in last year’s game.

fifa16

EA seems to have scaled down hands and feet to more…normal proportions.

fifa16

The crowd in FIFA 16, It might not seem like it makes much of a difference to the overall look of the game, but little details like a better-looking crowd mount up with other small details to make a significant difference.

FIFA 16

It’s the incredibly natural player movements in ‘FIFA 16′ that make it so realistic. Just look how the player in the blue jersey receiving the pass moves his arms and body, and takes a few steps to regain his balance.

FIFA 16 Update Has Been Released

FIFA 16 has been out for a few weeks now and EA Sports launched the second FIFA 16 new patch update seems to solve some problems.

In order to make sure that the game is working as well as possible on the first day, EA have in releasing a game every year is that most of the foundation work has already been laid so normally there isn’t too much that needs to be done after the game’s release.

A long-term problem for FIFA, with a small tweak improving their positioning and rushing out.

Some News

● Signing Falcao may actually be the reason Martial wound up at Man Utd
● Reports: Klopp to rent Rodgers’ old apartment in Liverpool
● GRAPHICS: NBA jerseys reimagined as football shirts

Other changes to the game has looked at the FIFA trainer, a shot sometimes being called as a goal when it wasn’t, and kit clashes with the referee.

In Career Mode wages have been redesigned to be more realistic and there have been a number of changes made to Ultimate Team.

They are very minor fixes, but together they should help solve problem in the final team and they will surely good news for players  toencounter these problems.

Ultimate Team server maintenance sessions today from FIFA 15

The process began at 8.30am Pacific Time (4.30pm in the UK) and is scheduled to last roughly three hours. But you know how these things can go, so FIFA 15’s Ultimate Team portion may not return at 11.30am/7.30pm on the dot.

Update: As you may have expected, the maintenance has been extended to 2pm Pacific/10pm UK.

Update 2: It should be back now. Rest of the original story follows.

This maintenance session also affects the web app and mobile apps. You won’t be able to use those either while this is going on. EA isn’t giving any precise details about what this maintenance entails, so it’s probably safe to assume they’re not introducing new transfer market features or anything.

The official post about today’s FIFA 15 Ultimate Team down time can be read here. It’s not terribly exciting, though. Here’s a twitter post to match.

Hummels: I would only leave Borussia Dortmund

The 26-year-old’s BVB contract runs until 2017, but he has long been courted by the Red Devils, whose manager Louis van Gaal is looking for a defensive leader.

The Germany centre-back told Monday’s edition of Kicker that he “often thinks about moving abroad”, but gave Tuesday’s instalment of Bild a far stronger indication of his Manchester thoughts.

“If I was to transfer abroad at some stage, then it would only be to Manchester United,” Hummels said.

Hummels’ agent, his father Hermann, is a friend of Van Gaal from when they both worked at Bayern Munich, where Hummels senior was youth team co-ordinator until 2012, while Van Gaal was head coach from 2009 until 2011.

Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke revealed the club captain informed them he is weighing up his options.

“Mats had a conversation with [director of sport] Michael Zorc and myself two weeks ago, when he informed us that he is thinking about his future,” said Watzke. “That is completely legitimate. He has a contract until 2017 and we haven’t received an offer, therefore we’re pretty relaxed.”

FIFA 15: Daniel Butenko dominates in Cologne

In a performance reminiscent of Germany against Brazil in the semi-finals of the 2014 FIFA World Cup™, Daniel Butenko slotted six goals past Mirza Jahic to win the Final match of the Germany Live Qualification Event for FIWC 2015.

“I was really nervous, because I am very young,” the winner told FIFA.com shortly after winning the final, “they all know each other and are really experienced. I was definitely the underdog today.”

As the host nation live event winner, 15-year-old Butenko has received a seat at the FIWC 2015 Grand Final in Munich, which will take place from 17 to 19 May. At the Grand Final, 20 players will compete for the interactive world title, USD 20,000 and a trip to the FIFA Ballon d’Or 2015.

A day to remember

Butenko employed Real Madrid to devastating effect, scoring six and conceding none on his way to the German final. First to fall against Butenko was 33-year old Sebastian Huber from Salzgitter. The youngster scored four goals past his older opponent to win and progress to the semi-finals. Riding the adrenaline from an impressive quarter-final win, Savas Destan Oglu attacked Butenko from the very start of their semi-final. Savas rattled the bar after just eight minutes of virtual time and seemed the favourite to secure victory. Butenko had other plans, scoring after 19 minutes to take the lead and then again shortly before the final whistle to secure a place in the day’s Final.

Jahic’s journey

In both his matches en route to the final, Mirza Jahic would first concede and then climb back to win. The 24-year-old self-defence instructor and reigning Virtual Bundesliga (VBL) champion started his day with a quarterfinal against 2013 VBL champion Kevin Assia. Jahic would concede in the first half, but draw level in the second. The game was settled late into extra-time, when Jahic sent an impeccable cross into the net with a powerful header. Jahic sighed heavily in relief as the final whistle blew and match commentator Leigh Smith summed up the game: “very close defensive work, great attacking work and clearly a tense, tense match between these two players,” he said. Jahic would win his second match of the day more comfortably to position himself one victory away from his first ever Grand Final appearance.

The final

The 24-year-old reigning Virtual Bundesliga champion against a 15-year old from Neumarkt-Sankt Veit, this was to be the unexpected finale to the Germany Live Event. A goal after just 10 minutes confirmed Jahic’s status as the favourite. However, Butenko shook off some early nerves and levelled the game after 30-minutes. Five minutes later, Butenko scored again. Jahic countered almost instantly, scoring three minutes later to bring the match level at 2-2. Three minutes later, another goal! This time from Butenko after a back heel pass from Luka Modric set up Cristiano Ronaldo to score. Moments before the half-time whistle, Butenko struck again to take a 4-2 lead into the break. Jahic’s initial energy dissipated and the young underdog scored a fifth (52’) and finally a sixth goal (77‘) to mark the biggest upset of the day and win himself a seat at the Grand Final of the world’s largest gaming tournament.

Quarter-finals

Savas Destan Oglu (Chelsea) 2–0 Demis Durante (Real Madrid)

Daniel Butenko (Real Madrid) 4-0 Sebastian Huber (Real Madrid)

Erhan Kayman (Real Madrid) 3-1 Jan Zimmermann (Real Madrid)

Mirza Jahic (Real Madrid) 2-1 Kevin Assia (Real Madrid)

Semi-finals

Savas Destan Oglu (Chelsea) 0-2 Daniel Butenko (Real Madrid)

Erhan Kayman (Real Madrid) 1-3 Mirza Jahic (Real Madrid)

Final

Daniel Butenko (Real Madrid) 6-2 Mirza Jahic (Real Madrid)

Sevilla hammered Andalusian neighbours Granada 4-0

fifa15

David Moyes was sent off as Real Sociedad crashed out of the Copa del Rey following a 2-2 home draw against Villarreal. Moyes, unhappy that a number of decisions had gone against his team, argued with referee Carlos Carballo Velasco with nine minutes to go and was ordered to the stands after gesturing that the official needed glasses. So when you have some FIFA 15 coins, then you can play well in FIFA 15.

The former Manchester United manager took a seat high in the stands at the Anoeta and smiled as he accepted the offer of a crisp from one of the home supporters. He was far from happy with what was happening on the pitch below, though. Having lost the first leg 1-0, Moyes’ men needed to win to progress.

Carlos Vela’s opener had been cancelled out by a stunning shot from Gerard Moreno and Giovani Dos Santos then put Villarreal 2-1 up on the night. Esteban Granero equalised for Real 15 minutes from time, but soon after Moyes then lost his temper and was shown a red card. As Moyes watched from above, Mateo Musacchio was sent off for Villarreal, but the damage had already been done and the Yellow Submarine went through with a 3-2 aggregate win.

Villarreal will play Getafe in the quarter-finals after they beat Almeria 1-0 on Wednesday night. Alvaro Vazquez rounded Julian with 16 minutes left to give Getafe a 2-1 aggregate victory.

Athletic Club also moved into the last eight after scraping through on away goals against Celta Vigo. Xabier Etxeitia scored an own goal just after half-time and Fabian Orellana converted a penalty to put Celta 2-0 up on the night and level at 4-4 on aggregate. But Eduardo Berizzo’s men could not find a third so they crashed out of the competition.

In Wednesday’s late match, Sevilla hammered Andalusian neighbours Granada 4-0 to progress to a quarter-final meeting with Espanyol. Kevin Gameiro scored twice while Iago Aspas and Denis Suarez also found the net to give the Nervionenses a 6-1 aggregate win.
